Barbara Gobbi has spent the past 25 years in the sales and marketing. Her experience includes Director of Sales of hotel brands and media buyer for an advertising agency handling national accounts. Having been a member of the merger and acquisition team for a hotel management company and helping turn around distressed hotels domestically and internationally, Barbara found her calling in consulting. She opened BG Marketing to help small and medium-sized companies in a variety of industries. Some of her clients include Candice Olson Design, Goodyear Tire and Auto, Moe’s Southwest Grill, ServiceMaster Clean, Allstate Insurance and many more.
Her expertise in social media and her out-of-the-box creative marketing strategies have made her marketing plans cutting-edge and have helped her clients stand out amongst their competition. She stresses the importance of content creation and says her goal is to “make each client the leading expert in their own industry.” She regularly gives tutorials on the fundamentals of social media and the impact it plays in the modern business world and she tells her audience “I can teach you how to fish, or I will do your fishing for you!”
Barbara’s biggest strength is in understanding the psychology of the consumer; their shopping and buying habits, their pain points, and the best way to take that data and create a marketing plan that can help businesses solve consumers’ problems.
